What can we control on your lawn?

There are many insects that may exist in your turf (lawn). Some may be beneficial, many are damaging or detrimental to your turf. Just because they exist doesn't mean that they are damaging, but in enough quantity they can pose a threat to the health of your lawn.

Some pests may not pose a threat to your lawn, but may pose a nuissance or disease threat to humans or pets. Example of these types of pests are Ticks and Fleas.

There are many chemical options available to us in the treating of pests in your lawn. Not all lawns have the same pests present to a survey of your particular property can be done by our licensed technician to determine to determine your specific treatment program.

The most common lawn pests in New England lawns are Ticks, Fleas, and Grubs. Grubs are the larvae of beetles, usually Japanese Beetle or European chafer.

While we have many different chemicals to choose from, here is a list of some of the ones that we are likely to use on your lawn and the target pests they control:

• Adults and/or larvae of subsurface and surface feeding pests: Centipedes, Fleas, Millipedes, Ticks, Imported fire ants, Mole crickits, Pillbugs, Sowbugs, Chinchbugs (suppression)
• Adults and/or larvae of surface feeders: Annual bluegrass weevil, Billbugs, Chinch bugs, Fruit fly, Leafhoppers, Mealybugs, Nuisance ants
• Larvae of surface feeders: Armyworm, Cutworm, Sod webworms
